Topic Summary: Arc Flash is a very dangerous workplace electrical hazard. According to National Safety Council studies nearly 2,000 people go to hospitals every year with sever arc flash burns. I will describe how to identify common workplace arc flash hazards and describe some safety related work practices that will keep employees safe when working on or near this potentially deadly phenomenon.
